I’m part of this group called Doodle Thursdays. Every Thursday we meet to doodle and share ideas and inspiration. We also have a WORD OF THE WEEK, where we draw lots and pick a word (or in this case, two words) as basis for our doodles. This week we picked NEVERLAND and PIE. So naturally, I made Peter Pie and the Elusive Shadow.
This set from Landscapes in Portrait is currently on display at the Blend 09 exhibit at Cinematheque Iloilo. The exhibit will run until August 10, 2014. Be sure to drop by and see all the other amazing artwork by Ilonggo artists.
The only way “following your passion” is wrong is if passion is defined wrong. It’s not something you like, or a hobby. It’s a part of who you are, a part of your soul you share—that’s why it can never be selfish and is one of the best ways to give back. Because the best gift you can give this country is your self, whatever sector in society you may be in.
I am forever indebted to those who made my way possible. In return I promise to keep the path clean and open. And, if I’m as courageous and loving as those who came before me, I promise to blaze a new trail or two for those who have yet to come. Thanks once again to kumomaikeru for the graphic!
